Emlen Fischer is a Partner based in Menlo Park, and was a founding member of the firm’s Technology practice in Silicon Valley. He joined Centerview in 2010 and worked in both the East Coast and West Coast offices to help Centerview establish a leading technology practice. Emlen has advised on over $250 billion in transactions over his 20+ year career, working with boards of directors, management teams, investors and entrepreneurs on a range of complex strategic, financial and M&A matters.
Emlen rejoined Centerview in 2025 from Factorial Energy, where he served as Chief Business Officer and Chief Financial Officer. At Factorial, Emlen led all core business functions and was responsible for scaling Factorial’s operations and leading execution of its strategic growth and expansion initiatives. His responsibilities included all commercial, industrialization and supply chain activities as well as financial operations, fundraising and strategic partner engagements, including overseeing the Company’s regional operations in Europe and Asia. In 2021, he raised ~$250M for Factorial as part of its Series C and Series D funding rounds and negotiated the Company’s development partnership agreements with Stellantis and Mercedes-Benz.
His advisory experience includes buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, spin-offs, divestitures, shareholder activism and anti-raid defense, as well as strategic advisory assignments.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fischer was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at J.P. Morgan. Mr. Fischer holds an undergraduate degree Mathematical Economics, with honors, from Haverford College and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
