Michael Muntner has over 25 years of investment banking experience and is well regarded as a strategic advisor to healthcare services companies and private equity firms. Over the course of his career, Mr. Muntner has advised on over $350 billion of transactions, including some of the largest healthcare services deals ever.
Mr. Muntner joined Centerview in 2016 to establish its healthcare services practice after 16 years at Credit Suisse, serving as Co-Head of the Healthcare Group in the Americas.

Notable transactions at Credit Suisse include advising Express Scripts on its $34 billion acquisition of Medco, Special Committee of HCA on its $33 billion sale to financial sponsor consortium, Anthem on its $5 billion acquisition of Amerigroup, Amil on its $5 billion sale to UnitedHealth, Carlyle and H&F on its $4 billion acquisition of PPD, Harvard Drug on its $1.1 billion sale to Cardinal Health, Helios on its sale to Optum and KKR on its acquisition of PRA Health Sciences.
Mr. Muntner began his career in healthcare investment banking at Alex. Brown & Sons and was Vice President, Strategic Planning at Hanger Orthopedic Group, a publicly-traded healthcare services company.
Mr. Muntner graduated magna cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in finance. He serves on the Board of Project Morry, a not-for-profit youth development organization.
